Starting something new can feel like a big step. Beginners are welcome at North Harrow Taekwon-Do, and you can ask the instructor any questions before you visit.
Choose a session
5:30pm–6:45pm: new students and lower grades. Children aged 7 and over and adults; families are very welcome and encouraged to learn together.
6:00pm–7:30pm: senior grades.
Both sessions run on Thursdays at St Alban's Church in North Harrow.
What happens in class?
Every class is a little different from week to week, but it always covers the fundamentals of Taekwon-Do: fitness, stretching, patterns, pad work and sparring. Together they build strength, flexibility, technique and confidence.
Your instructor will guide you through the session and help you get started with the basics. You do not need any previous Taekwon-Do experience, so let the instructor know if you are new and ask anything you like before taking part.
What should I wear or bring?
Wear tracksuit bottoms or leggings with a t-shirt. We train barefoot, so you do not need any special footwear.
Please bring some water.
If you have questions about health or participation, please discuss them with the instructor before class.
Before you come
Contact Mrs Kisson to check which session is right for you, confirm you can attend, and ask about current fees, trial availability or equipment. These details can change, so please check with the club before your first visit.
